ROAD WORK–
Indiana Department of Transportation has begun a major overhaul of SR 5 through Shipshewana. The project has been anticipated for years. The town opted to add sidewalks along SR 5 as part of current construction. The work is expected to continue throughout the year. Town Manager Terry Martin said everything is going according to plans so far.
