Steam and Gas Show coming to LaGrange

Mark your calendars, the 42nd annual Antique Farm Power Steam and Gas Show is coming to LaGrange.

The show is slated for Aug. 8-10 at the La­Grange County Fair­grounds, 1030 E 075 N, LaGrange.

The 2024 show fea­tures Allis-Chalmers tractors and Indiana-built engines. All exhibitors will receive a plaque and feature exhibitors will receive a collector’s but­ton.

Over the years, the event has grown to in­clude other aspects. This year, activities include the Indiana A-C Partners State Show, an antique tractor pull (Saturday at 9 a.m.), 125 HP Erie Steam Engine, two operating sawmills, plowing with steam engines, wheat threshing, parade of trac­tors and engines (Friday and Saturday at 3 p.m.), flea market, trading post, a farm toy show, live en­tertainment by band Full Measure (Friday at 7 p.m.) and more.

The show opens at 9 a.m. each day. Admis­sion is $5 per person. Ex­hibitors enter free, as do children under 12 with an adult. Camping is $10 per day.
