A dozen pink piggies started Pajama Day at Jojo’s Pretzels Saturday morning during Shipshewana’s annual Pajama Day. Aubrey Rothenbuhler of Wolf Lake, center, came up with the family pajama theme. Aubrey’s team included Debbie Wingate, Sherri Thompson, Brittany Miers, Cindy Miers, Ellen Wilson, Kortny Wingate, Remi and Emma Wingate and Jody Stevens, all of Indianapolis, and Cathy Rothenbuhler and Joan Parsley of Wolf Lake. Sarah Clarkson of LaGrange, on the left in the photo at right, went shopping dressed as a hammerhead shark with her friends from Chicago, Stephanie Kilper and Abi Leveille. Hundreds of locals and visitors attend every year, according to the LaGrange County Convention and Visitors Bureau. The businesses offer sales, giveaways and drawings during the one-day event, which starts early at stores across Shipshewana. Among this year’s features was a book signing by Jamie Ward of her new release, “100 Things To Do In Indiana Before You Die.”
