LaGrange Night to Shine is thrilled to announce it has received a generous grant of $3,000 from the LaGrange County REMC Operation Round Up program. This funding will greatly support the upcoming Night to Shine event, scheduled for February 13, 2026, at the Northern Indiana Event Center in Elkhart, Indiana.
Allisa Brown, the Event Coordinator for Night to Shine, expressed gratitude for the generous donation, noting that the funds will primarily go towards catering expenses, one of the largest budget items for the event. “Last February, we welcomed over 700 attendees, and we continue to be overwhelmed by the support from our community!” Brown said.
Over the past decade, the Night to Shine event in LaGrange has experienced remarkable growth and transformation. From its inception, the event has adapted to various challenges, including creatively transitioning to a drive-thru format during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, the team encountered a hurdle when they learned that their previous venue could no longer accommodate them. Initially a discouraging challenge, the situation ultimately led to a positive outcome.

“We are thrilled to share that we have found a new home for Night to Shine 2026 at the Northern Indiana Event Center in Elkhart County,” Brown announced. “This beautiful space not only meets our needs but also allows us to reach new communities and families, thus expanding the impact of this incredible event. We believe that God has been present in every detail of this transition, and we are eagerly looking forward to His plans for us.”
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this February, Night to Shine aims to create an unforgettable prom night experience centered around God’s love for individuals with special needs aged 14 and older. Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, Night to Shine is held worldwide on the same night, and LaGrange First Church of God proudly serves as the host church for this spectacular event.
