Bob Hill of LaGrange received the Lions’ Melvin Jones award after 32 years of service to the Howe Lions Club. Presenting the award was secretary Jeff Schrader before the Howe Lions members, friends and family on July 20 at the Howe Community Center. Lions Clubs world-wide recognize outstanding individuals by bestowing on them an award that is named after founder Melvin Jones. Pictured is Alice Watson, vice president; Hill; and Schrader. A banquet was held before the presentation.
