If you’re searching for a safe and enjoyable Halloween celebration specifically designed for families with children with disabilities, look no further! LoveWay Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides equine-assisted services to individuals with disabilities, is excited to announce its 4th Annual Barn Boo-Nanza. This free event will take place on Friday, October 24th, from 5-7 p.m. at the LoveWay stables in Middlebury.
This heartwarming event promises an evening filled with joy and festive fun. “We’re excited to invite families with children with disabilities to experience the warm atmosphere of LoveWay while creating lasting memories,” said Jessica Estep, Director of Communications at LoveWay. Attendees are encouraged to come in their favorite costumes (no scary or violent costumes, please) for an evening of trick-or-treating at the decorated barn stalls.
Event Highlights Include:
• A sensory-friendly environment to ensure comfort for all guests
• Trick-or-Treating featuring small toys, trinkets, snacks, and candy at the creatively adorned barn stalls
• Fun games for children and families
• The chance to meet other families and make new friends
• Opportunities to connect with LoveWay staff and volunteers
In addition to the fun, LoveWay is seeking donations of candy and small trinkets to delight Trick-or-Treaters. The nonprofit is also looking for sponsors for the event. Stall Sponsors can decorate their stalls for a $200 donation, Candy Sponsors are welcome at $50, and Game Sponsors can contribute for just $25. Donations, whether items or monetary support, should be sent to LoveWay at 54151 CR 33, Middlebury, IN 46540 by October 23rd, with the note “Attention: Barn Boo-Nanza.”
