The AQ went 10-2 and Old Man Winter posted a 2-0 mark last week in NECC boys basketball picks.

Tuesday’s winter storm caused the postponement of Fremont-Eastside and Mishawaka- Fairfield con-tests. Losses by Fairfield (to West Noble) and Argos (to Churubusco) accounted for the two missed calls by the local roundball forecaster.

With the start of the girls basketball state tournament this week, most of the boys action will take place Thursday night and Saturday afternoon this week.
