NECC volleyball co-leader Angola rolled to a 25-4, 25-14, 25-6 victory over Lakeland Tuesday night in the Monument City.
Eight different Lady Hornets recorded kills in the win with Morgan Gaerte’s nine spikes leading the way. Maya Harris was next with six.
Mya Ball served up five of Angola’s 14 service aces. Anna McClure topped the dig chart with 14 and Ava Harris led in assists with 12.
Kaitlyn Keck had three kills and both Takya Wallace and Arlene Thompson delivered two for the Lady
Lakers. Wallace netted five digs and both Adelyn Dininny and Anna Rasler made four. Rasler also garnered seven assists.
Tuesday’s result lifted Angola to 5-0 in the NECC and 9-0 overall. Lakeland dropped to marks of 1-4 and 2-10.
