Carousel literary festival

A puppet show was part of the fun at Middlebury Public Library’s recent Carousel Literary Festival. Programs also included a traveling theater production, a cosplay contest for teens, and a storytelling event for adults, all with a fairy­tale theme. The festivities culminated Aug. 5 with a visit from Gail Carson Levine, Newbery award-winning author of “Ella Enchanted.”
